Microsoft releases its light version of Windows 10 for the Internet of Things

Microsoft has said time and time again that Windows 10 will be the OS to power all sorts of devices from desktops to phones, but now it’s arriving on new platforms: the company today publicly released Windows 10 IoT Core, a pared down version of the operating system for the Internet of Things. IoT Core will run on the Raspberry Pi 2 and Minnowboard Max, and can work on devices regardless of whether they have a display.
